These guys did great work. I spoke to four different highly rated crawl space businesses and I decided on Summit. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to find a solution to address it. I had them remove and old and poorly installed sump pump and put in a new one. What sold me on them was they were incredibly knowledgeable about every part of the process and could expertly explain every step. From the water cooled pump, to the size of the pipes they would use to the best place to discharge the water they expertly explained everything. I highly recommend anyone looking for quotes to do work on there crawl space to add Summit to your list.

Front wall is bowing approximately 1.5 degrees inward. Soil level is near the top of the CMU wall. Install engineered wall braces either side of foyer, approximately 3-4 feet apart for a total of 7 braces. Secure to floor with anchor bolts and secure up in joist bays with heavy steel brackets. Includes removal of necessary drywall to complete installation. Finish Shield Installation Right side wall to front edge of chimney, front basement wall in main room and front plus side wall to drywall in left utility room; Remove 2 x 2 studs in main room, clean floor at cove joint and install Heavy Duty Finish Shield from floor to ceiling. Seal all joints with sealant and tape where needed. Ahead of the Finish Shield apply waterproof masonry coating to right and front wall in main room only.

Rear sump pump was running for a very long time and crock was nearly full of water. Evidence it is not pumping efficiently which indicates silt or other clogging. Front sump pump is old and requires replacement. Install two new FastSump pumps, front and rear. Clean out both sump crocks of any sediment and debris. Install battery back up with inverter on rear sump only for now.

Abandoned butyl water line cut flush with floor is leaking onto the floor surface. Chip out around the pipe and apply fast setting epoxy. Customers can choose to refinish the floor when completed. Apply hydraulic cement around the lally column in the center of the basement. Finish will not be smooth due to floor settling. No water entering at that point. The possibility exists that customers may need additional work to stop and manage the water. If additional work is needed the cost of this work will be credited towards that remediation.

In closet under foyer remove a piece of 2x8 right below the sub floor framing and a piece of plywood next to it. Inspect for additional damage behind those pieces of wood. Apply a new coat of masonry waterproofing paint (white) to closet space under foyer. Exterior: As facing front door, excavate down 8-12 inches below grade and install heavy plastic, bonded to the foundation wall and tie in the existing front downspout discharge line. Run a perforated pipe to stop, right turn to the first part of sidewalk and tunnel beneath to the other side. Continue with perforated pipe along right side foundation wall and terminate near rear corner of home into a drain box installed in the soil, flush with the surface. Drain box will be filled with crushed stone and serviceable. Fill the trench with washed type 56 stone flush with grade.
