Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed new vapor barrier, a fast drain system and a sump pump.
Solutions provided:
On the backside of crawl space install a fast drain system on one wall only. Vapor barrier will be run along the back wall and connected to a fast drain. To install, the fast drain trench will be dug and stone will be installed. Fast drain will run to a sump pump basin in the rear right corner indicated by the technician. Sump pump basin will include one 1/3 hp sump pump, check valve, and run off line. Run off line will go through the back right corner and deposit water into a drain box in the backyard. Electrical will be run by Summit for a sump pump.
Old vapor barrier will be sealed to the new vapor barrier that is located on the backside of crawl space.
