Why did the customer contact us?

 

Right side wall, water entering through cove joint in basement. Front wall has water seeping down due to problems with the front brick stoop and walkway. Subsidence and undermining have caused the bricks to separate and allow water under. Various stages of wood rot at front rim joist, TJI’s are showing signs of rot as well and insulation in joist bays are soaked.

 

 

 

Solutions provided:

 

To remediate water issues from the foundation SES proposes the following: Install a partial GrateDrain system along the entire front wall of the basement and entire right wall as well. Includes installation of flexi flange to direct any water into the drain system, flush ports to permit servicing of the system. Install FastSump with a liner in the corner. Run discharge line up and out of the basement to approximately 10 LF away from home into a flush mounted drain box in soil.
