Why did the customer contact us?
Water entering the left side of home, basement, in MBR. Inspection outside found it was pooling and flowing toward the home and causing issues. Recommend removing all items from the affected area, pull up carpet and dry out as mold/fungal growth will occur if it hasn’t already.
Solutions provided:
Remove the first row of flagstones and soil. Remove one to two step treads on the staircase. Excavate and install French drain system along the foundation wall down to the fence. Includes drain pipe, washed stone and liner to prevent water from entering home. Run line under fence, down approximately 10 LF. Combine downspout drain already in soil to a large drain box.
