Why did the customer contact us?
The customer was having waterproofing issues with their basement.
Solutions provided:
Rear of basement from left rear corner to wall adjacent to bathroom, install GrateDrain system in floor with flexiflange to capture water. Install GrateSump with liner, left rear corner, with high water alarm and check valve. Use existing electrical receptacle. Run discharge up rear wall, out through walkout and left through wall. Tie into existing downspout line with ‘wye’. Customer understands SES will not warrant connections to downspouts but will test discharge line. Locate drain line from walkout to see if it will run to sump. If the elevation is not an issue run separate line over to sump to discharge walkout drain. SES will supply tarps to isolate work area from rest of basement including ceiling. An air scrubber will be employed to keep down dust if needed.
