Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed new insulation for their crawl space.
Solutions provided:
Install R11 bora foam insulation board on all exterior walls of the crawlspace. Block off all vents with bora foam board to prevent stack effect. Extra 6 mil vapor barrier will be brought to connect to the existing vapor barrier. The top of the additional 6 mil vapor barrier will be secured to the R11 bora foam board. Spray foam all the exterior rim joists with 2 inches of closed cell spray foam.
