Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed repairs to their crawl space.
Solutions provided:
Remove old vapor barrier and all batted fiberglass insulation. Sterifab joists to treat for mildew. Remove crawlspace fans from vents. Install new R11 bora foam board on the walls of the crawlspace. Block off all vents with bora foam board to prevent stack effect. Spray foam the rim joists with 2 inches of closed cell spray foam. Install dimple shield and 16 mil white vapor barrier on the floor of the crawlspace. Seal the vapor barrier to the R11 bora foam board with seam tape. Run the vapor barrier up each cinder block column. Insulate entry point door. Install one Santa Fe advanced 90 with a condensate pump in the middle of the crawlspace. One electrical outlet will be moved by summits electrician to proper spot in crawlspace. Run discharge line to existing sump pump. Replace sump pump with new 1/3 fast sump pump. Includes new check valve installation. Existing discharge line will be used.
