The customer needed crawl space repairs.
Solutions provided:
Removal of old vapor barrier and blanket insulation from crawl space. Plate foundation vents in crawlspaces to include air ceiling with spray foam, air seal rim Joist at top of foundation wall and insulate crawlspace entry door. Install R11 foam board insulation with vapor barrier to foundation walls of crawlspace exterior only, seam tape joints. Install dimple shield matting to crawl space floor, and then install 16mil vapor barrier over top and run up walls 4 to 6 inches to include seam taping and overlapping. Spray treat for spiders and set traps for snakes and mice. Hook up electric outlet and install Santa Fe dehumidifier with condensate pump and run off to extract water through foundation vent.
