The customer had water in their crawl space.
Solutions provided:
Dig a trench around the perimeter of the crawlspace interior. Install stone and a fast drain system gravity fed to an existing sump pump basin. Cover the fast drain system with additional stone. Clean out ports will be installed at the corners for proper maintenance.
Remove the vapor barrier and debris from the crawlspace. Sterifab the joists to treat for mildew and mold. Install R11 bora foam board on all the walls and block off the vents. Spray foam the rim joists with 2 inches of closed cell spray foam. Insulate the entry door. Install a dimple shield and a 16 mil white vapor barrier on the floor of the crawlspace. Run the vapor barrier up the R11 bora foam board and seam tape to seal. Install a Santa Fe compact in the crawlspace and discharge moisture into the existing sump pump basin. Remove a section of the 1 1/2 inch pipe that discharges the sump pump into the garden and install an ice cop. The new discharge line will be ran sixteen feet under the ground to a drain box flush with the ground.
