Customer had water coming up through basement floor.
Solutions provided:
Water moving up under flooring through LVP.
Demo 8 x 19 area of LVP and save for reuse. Cannot guarantee the flooring is reusable.
Investigate and find source of water entry. Possible entry under bottom plate at wall on front of home or plate under wall at small utility area.
Additional remediation will be required.
Tentative proposal is to demo, locate source and install companion drain system under floor with lateral run to existing sump.
