Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed repairs to their crawl space to bring it up to code.
Solutions provided:
Batted insulation starting to fall around space. Crawl space is open to exterior through vents.
Remove batted insulation from ceiling.
Install Borafoam termite resistant insulation board on all exterior walls to still plate.
Stop airflow by applying 2 inches of closed cell foam to perimeter rim joist.
install new 12 mil reinforced liner over existing. Wrap/seal all seams, columns and up to walls.
Install supply inducer to partially condition space.
Install new poly hatch cover with insulation and weather stripping.
Seal all vents.
