Why did the customer contact us?
Customer is selling her home in a couple months. She knows she more than likely has mold in her crawlspace so she needs that taken care of. Before she moved in, the house did have termites. She hasn’t checked the home since then. So she will also be needing a termite inspection.
Solutions provided:
Basic encapsulation Remove debris from crawlspace and dispose. Install 10 mil liner on floor and seal to walls approximately 6 inches. Remove existing insulation and install new R19 batted insulation. 2 year warranty Floor repairs Damage to floor under bathroom. Wood in area has rotted through and shows advanced stages of rot elsewhere. Previous issues in bathroom were resolved. Minimum effective repairs would include treatment with wood stabilizer, add in additional pressure treated wood to underside to brace and stabilize floor between joists.
